🍎 Mac. If it says "app is damaged" — that's macOS protection for apps outside the App Store. The app is fine; the quarantine flag has to be removed.
1. Open the downloaded file and drag colleasy into "Applications". This step is required: the command below looks for the app exactly there.
2. Open "Terminal": ⌘+Space → type "Terminal" → Enter.
3. Paste the command (⌘+V) and press Enter:
This is the TERMINAL COMMAND — not your licence key:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/colleasy.app
Do NOT paste the licence key (shown above) into Terminal — it only answers "command not found" and the quarantine stays.
4. Open colleasy from "Applications" with a double-click.
Still "damaged"? Most likely the app is not in "Applications" yet — then the command does nothing. Check step 1 and repeat. Or right-click (Control+click) colleasy → "Open" → "Open" again.
🪟 Windows. If a window titled "Windows protected your PC" appears — click "More info" under the text, then "Run anyway". The button only shows up after "More info".
If the spinner turns and no window appears, wait a minute — the installer is 400 MB and unpacks silently. Still nothing after two minutes? Your antivirus removed the file: download it again and add the downloads folder to exclusions for the install.
If Windows instead says an application control policy has blocked the file, that is Smart App Control — it has no "run anyway" button. It is switched off in Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → App & browser control. Windows will warn that turning it back on needs a reinstall, so the call is yours. Write to us and we will walk you through it.
